This month, I've decided to put family a little higher on my priority list. There are so many new beginnings, changes, events, and projects that I'm incredibly blessed to be a part of, but I can only stretch myself so far. Because of that, I feel it's time to ease up for a little while and simply enjoy this short season of change.
For the month of August, I'll be a bit slower with responses, and any sessions booked this month will have a 3-4 week turnaround. Current sessions that are waiting on delivery will be delivered by Monday. As always, I'll do my very best to deliver galleries and respond to messages as quickly as I can. But on days like today, when I spent the day helping my brother with projects at his new house, I'm now finding myself behind on editing and responding to clients. Some of you have been waiting all day to hear back from me, and I truly appreciate your patience.
I'll be using this month to finish up several projects, help family, prepare for our first year of homeschooling, and soak up these last few moments of summer with my family. I hope you and yours get to do the same, the busy school year is just around the corner!
Just to be clear, I'm not closing! I'll still be booking, editing, and responding to messages—things will just move at a slightly slower pace than usual. You may even get a few late-night texts from me (including tonight 🤪).
