It's kind of hard to believe I just finished photographing School Year #8 for Warren County and #9 is thundering toward us.
Looking back through phot this week, I kept finding athletes that have graduated high school and college, some getting married, some having kids of their own and others that are about to start their senior year.
Seems like every school year takes forever while you're in it. Those brutal August evening on Football and Soccer fields to the brisk early Spring nights on Baseball and Softball Diamonds.
Then one day you're looking at photos from last August and wondering where the time went.
One thing I hear from parents all the time is:
"I sure wish you had been doing this when I was in high school."
I understand exactly what they mean.
Most of us have a handful of school pictures and maybe a few snapshots from games if we were lucky. Personally I have Zero photos of myself competing in Shot Put and Discus… Today, these athletes have a chance to have their stories preserved in a way most of us never did.
That's one of the reasons I offer Season Passes.
Most parents don't need another thing to buy.
What they need is somebody making sure these moments don't slip by unnoticed.
The big plays matter. The friendships matter. The moments before the game and after the game matter.
And one day, these photos will play a big part in bringing the moments that matter back to life.

And if experience has taught me anything, it's that these seasons move a whole lot faster than we think they will.
