They say art isn’t what you see, but what you make others see. Today is National Inspire Your Heart with Art Day, and I’m doing something a little scary: I’m reaching deep into the archives📂✨

These are the shots I took just for "me"—most from when I first picked up a camera, before I knew about lighting ratios or composition rules. I never planned on sharing these, but looking back, I can see the exact moments my heart fell in love with this craft.

These early frames are the foundation that Black Widow Shoots was built on. They remind me that art isn’t about perfection; it’s about the passion to keep creating, keep learning, and keep capturing the world from a unique lens.

I’m so grateful that my "just for fun" hobby turned into a career of telling your stories. Whether it’s at the drag strip or a quiet lifestyle session, my goal is still the same: to create art that moves you.
