Love found its way through mudslides and rainstorms! On July 31st, Kelsey & Taylor said ‘I do’ their own way at the stunning Trout Lake in Telluride, Colorado. With waterfalls off the table due to July’s wild weather, they embraced the unexpected and made magic happen lakeside. All the way from Texas, they chased freedom and found their perfect spot—because some love stories are worth the detour. 🌧️✨

What a privilege to capture Noah and Kacie's engagement for my very first Telluride session! This special spot holds memories from Kacie's parents' dating days and has also become a treasured place for Noah and Kacie's 4-wheeling vacations. Dru was out of town for this session, but fortunately for me, his parents are big fans of 4-wheeling and came along to help not just with lighting and dog handling, but also a very unexpected off-roading ride! Today is world pet memorial day. Let these photos be a reminder of how important it is to have really good photos of your pets at all stages of life. I don't think we could get any of these photos printed better than a 4x6/5x7. Having your pets photos taken professionally will ensure you can have huge photos of your pets if you wanted!

And don't forget those precious last moments, the ones you are too emotional to do yourself. Let me come and stand in the corner capturing the final breaths of your fur friend, while you take in every single millisecond. ❤️‍🩹

I know that quite literally everywhere else, we are approaching summer, but here in the mountains, spring is just (barely in some spots) surfacing. So it's finally time to share some of these gorgeous spring time engagement photos from last year.
This was probably the first time I was ever forced to shoot light and bright just given the way the sun was hitting the trees, but in no way am I complaining. These photos turned out beautifully!!
