I don’t typically share much of my personal life on this page, but I wanted to take a minute to give you all a little update!
This summer has been BUSY for our family—and even that feels like an understatement! Between our full-time jobs and the few hours we get together each evening for dinner, baths, and bedtime with our kiddos, we also spent the summer house hunting—with the best, I might add, . And I’m so happy to announce that we have officially moved!! We didn’t go far—for my Monticello clients, we’re just across the bridge in Big Lake!
The week we moved, we celebrated our son’s fourth birthday on July 30th, moved all day on the 31st, and then I ran off to photograph a wedding on August 1! Huge shoutout to my amazing husband for holding down the fort with an unpacked house and two feral kiddos! 🤪
To add to the list, I had exactly one week to unpack our house and get relicensed in Sherburne County while all my daycare families patiently waited for me to reopen my doors. The number of trips we made to Walmart, Target, and Home Depot for last-minute house projects… I’m exhausted just thinking about it!
And I can’t forget to mention that we ran up north last weekend to celebrate my amazing sister and her husband’s marriage—and to shower their soon-to-arrive baby girl. I am so excited to finally be an AUNTIE!! 💕💕
Moral of the story: Thank you to everyone who has checked in, reached out, inquired, and—most importantly—been patient with me. Photography has taken a bit of a back seat this summer because, truthfully, I just haven’t had the time.
However, fall is right around the corner, and the craziness is finally becoming a little less crazy! If you’ve been thinking about getting those family photos taken or updating your Christmas cards, now is the time to reach out! 📸🍂
