Guyla Behring Photography Specializing in senior portrait photos

More than a game, more than a season 🏈

Friday night lights. Hard work. Determine. Brotherhood.

Senior year is made up of moments that go by way too fast—and these photos aren’t just about the game—they’re about capturing the athlete, the person, and the memories behind the jersey.

One day, the jersey will be hung up and the game will be over… but these photographs will bring them right back to this season. 🏈📸

Today their little hands are holding on to the ropes leading their calves around the ring.

But someday they will be in front of a camera as high school seniors.

The years between now and then have a way of going by so fast. One day they are learning to care for their first animal and the next they are preparing for their last.

That’s why I love capturing these moments along the way. Because today’s little fair kids are tomorrow’s seniors—and these years are worth remembering.

Future seniors, I’ll be watching for you! Until then I am here to capture your senior now. Message me for available dates 📸✨

Wildflowers don’t bloom by comparing themselves to the flowers around them—they just grow where they’re planted and become exactly what they were meant to be.

As you step into this next season, don’t be afraid to spread your wings. Dream big, work hard, and never let anyone tell you your goals are too small or impossible.

Your journey doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. The beauty is in becoming who you were created to be.

Fly boldly, like a beautiful butterfly. Your story is just beginning. 🦋🌼

There is something special about a quiet gravel road, wildflowers along the edge, and a guitar that tells a story all its own.

Senior photos are more than beautiful portraits—they capture the heart of who you are in this season of life. The hobbies you love, the places that feel like home, and the little details that make your story unique are worth remembering.

Years from now, these won’t just be senior pictures. They’ll be a reminder of who you were before the next chapter began.

If you’re planning your senior session, don’t be afraid to bring something that represents you. Whether it’s a guitar, your favorite sport, your horse, or another passion, those personal touches are what turn beautiful photos into meaningful memories.

That’s the kind of story I love to capture.

PS shout out to Encompass Farming and their products! Crawling around in the weeds to get that perfect photo is a sure way to come home with bug bits and ticks. Thanks to encompass oil I have come home more than once with ZERO of either. Highly recommend!

Details, they matter.

One of the things I strive for with every portrait is exceptional clarity. When you zoom in on this image, you can see every eyelash, the intricate details of the iris, and even my reflection in my client’s eye.

Why does that matter?

Because I don’t create photographs that are meant to live only on a phone screen. I create images that are meant to become heirlooms—portraits you can enlarge, frame, and proudly display on your walls for years to come. The kind of photographs that still hold their beauty and detail whether you’re viewing them on a phone or as a large piece of artwork in your home.

Anyone can take a picture. My goal is to create artwork that stands the test of time, preserving not just a moment, but every beautiful detail within it.

In a world where photos live on our phones I feel it’s time to talk about the importance of portraits.

As a photographer I often think about the future. I wonder who will look at these portraits 20, 30, or even 50 years from now. I wonder what stories they’ll tell and what memories they’ll bring back.

My goal is always to create images that feel timeless today and meaningful decades from now.

Because one day, these won’t just be photographs. They’ll be family treasures.

The first look.

One moment during the wedding day where time seems to stand still even just for a minute. A moment just the couple and no one else.

The excitement, the tears, the smiles when they first see each other - it never gets old.

The first thing I look for in a portrait is clarity of eyes. Bonus if I have detail of eyelashes and reflection of myself and momma too ❤️

This level of focus makes a good photo a great one. It makes it art worthy of hanging on the wall. Sharp clear eyes create connection, draw the viewer in and bring life to the portrait in a way no other details can.

Light, composition and emotion are important but clarity in the eyes is what makes an image truly a tand out. The smallest detail makes the biggest impact.
