Tonight I’m feeling so grateful.

I launched this page about 8 months ago as a platform to share the work I was already doing. I’ve always had aspirations of growing this into more than just a hobby but time and fear kept putting it to the back burner. I’m not really sure what changed. It obviously wasn’t time juggling a full time career and raising 3 littles so maybe it was lessening my fear. I’ve already been blown away by the opportunities I’ve picked up. I’m excited for what I’ve booked in the near future. Thank you to every person who has given me opportunities and every person who has shared your kind words about my work. I’m hopeful for the future and grateful for this little side hustle.

I hope you enjoy some of the highlights of the work I’ve done over the last 8 months as much as I do.

Last week, I was privileged to photograph the Black Hawk College East Campus Livestock Judging Reunion. With 22 headshots, three team photos, and extensive program coverage alongside award recipient backdrop photos, the evening was busy. Every event is cherished, but giving back to my favorite college is particularly meaningful.

BHE is ready to “dig deep” at the 2026 IHSA Nationals!

I’ve had the opportunity to do several projects for Black Hawk College’s East Campus Equestrian program over the years and every year it’s been so fulfilling. The energy and confidence this team brings in contagious.

With my mobile backdrop we were able to set up a studio to complete individual headshots which I was able to use to create several graphics that will be turned into banners. We also captured some really universal pictures that the program can use for content in the future. This project is a great example of how I can tailor my skills to meet your needs.

I’ve had some new faces join us recently so I thought it would be a good time to re-introduce myself.

I’m Kinsey Hall, the creator behind K Hall Creative. I’ve had a passion for photography and graphic design for over 12 years. I have silently been creating social media post for organizations, taking lifestyle photos, shooting events, and designing print materials for years. I finally created this page so I could share what I’ve been doing.

If you haven’t caught on, this isn’t my full time gig. I work in the agricultural industry as an Operations Manager in West Central Illinois. I am a mom to 3 beautiful children, Lakin, Beau, and Brock and I’m married to the most supportive husband Blake.

Sometimes family photos don’t have to be overly dressed up and overly posed. Letting everyone wear whatever they want can be sometimes more powerful than the perfectly matching outfits.

Notice the little light spots in most the pictures with my grandma? I didn’t edit them out on purpose - I’m convinced it was my late grandpa reminding us he’s still here.
