Prior to this shoot, Millie’s mom let me know that Millie can be pretty shy sometimes— I was the same way as a kid. But I LOVED bubbles. My dad used to call me “Bubbles”, in fact. He still does sometimes. 😂

So, I came to the shoot equipped with a few bubble wands! ✨🫧

And so began a series of incredibly sweet moments between Millie and mom and dad — blowing bubbles into beams of sunlight that were shining through the trees.. Millie gazing up in awe, and waiting for the bubbles to float down so she could pop them. She had trouble getting bubbles to come out of the wand, but she didn’t get frustrated— and when she successfully produced a few bubbles all on her own, we all cheered, and her eyes lit up! She was so proud! 🥹

I feel so lucky that I got to capture these magical little moments for such a sweet family. 🫧❤️🫧

Technically speaking, this isn’t the “best” picture from this shoot — it’s a bit out of focus and a little grainy. But something about it is so special and so serene to me.

Lori and Barney weren’t paying any mind to the camera — they were just having a little mom & Barney moment, checking in with each other.

There are so many quiet moments like this that we share with our pups or other animal friends that I think maybe we take for granted. But in this moment, these two were fully present and connected with each other. ❤️

And I’m so glad I got to capture this little moment.

I ran inside to switch out my battery — or to gather the next group for photos — I don’t remember exactly. But what I DO remember is having the wind knocked out of me when, on my way back outside to join Jonathan and Aja, I looked out the window and saw this scene — Steph and Alex exchanging their vows, with the blue mountains in the background and the trees doin’ a little dance in the gentle breeze.

Glad I caught my breath long enough to snap a picture of this perfect moment between these two.

The look of calm on her face says it all. 🌻

Stephanie and Alex had a fairytale wedding day. Not just because of how beautifully everything was decorated — or how the hills were speckled with yellow wildflowers, how the horses galloped across the fields, or the dreamy, golden sunset that seemed otherworldly.

It was a perfect, magical day in every way. But what really made this a fairytale wedding was the way they looked at each other. The complete sense of calm on their faces, how they lit up when they were around on another. You could see it from miles away. That’s the fairytale right there.

Okay gotta go wipe away the single tear that’s running down my cheek. 🥲❤️

This is King. ❤️

King is a sweet senior pittie who wants nothing more than to spend the rest of his days cuddling up with his people in his forever home. He dreams of lounging on the couch and watching TV, and laughing with his family. He thinks of all the kisses he’ll give and all the cuddles and butt scratches he’ll receive. This gentle soul just wants to be loved, and to love you right back.

About 30 seconds ago I finished editing these photos and I just couldn’t wait to post them because this boy is just… I mean look at him!! 🥰🥲🥹

This is TOBY. 😍 He is available for adoption at Humane Society of St. Joseph County. Toby seems to just love meeting new people and he really knows how to have a good time! He is only 2 years old, and clearly has a million-dollar smile. 🥹

I don’t know how anyone could look at his big ol’ face and not want to hang out with him. He’s a big, sweet goofball who just wants to romp around with his tennis ball and shower you with kisses.
