Three things I’ve learned after photographing hundreds of families…

1. Kids don’t need to sit still to create beautiful photos!2. The best photos come when everyone forgets about the camera.
3. Children feel your energy more than they hear your words, if you’re having fun (or pretend to be having fun😅) they will to!

I love that this session’s vision was to simply let their kids have fun, not a single posed photo was expected. And let me tell ya, it was SO MUCH FUN!

Photo #8 almost didn’t happen…

I’m always chasing the feeling of a session, not just the location. Even on the walk back to the cars, I’m still noticing the way the light falls, the way the trees frame a family, or the little corner that feels like it was waiting for us all along. I love bringing those quiet visions to life because they’re often the moments that end up being my favorite.

Just a dreamy night filled with connection, play, and genuine moments - the kind of sessions I’ll never get tired of creating.
