Today I'm sharing a headshot that's a little bit out of my norm - meet the Bumbling Fools Mead Barrel! Barrel had a photoshoot in my studio last week, complete with different outfits and even had some bo***ir photos taken!

Sometimes you need more than a headshot to represent you and your business. Custom portrait sessions are designed to represent what makes your brand unique. We used props, plants, and custom colors to make sure Jen's photos represented her brand. And of course we showcased her love of LaCroix!

l follow several animal rescue groups and seeing them step up to the plate in times of need is nothing new. Every day there are stories of animals being abandoned & abused while a community of volunteers who are already stretched thin step up to help, time & time again. With the recent tragedy the Minneapolis community is facing there has been even greater need.

I’m hosting a headshot event benefiting on Feb 15 from 12-3pm in my Minneapolis studio. Pet Haven is caring for pets impacted by ICE and providing pet food to people in need. When people are suddenly displaced, animals are often left behind—and Pet Haven is just one of the organizations that has stepped in to provide safety, medical care, and reunification whenever possible.

The event is donation based and 100% of proceeds will be going to Pet Haven, Inc. of MN. I will be collecting pet food & supplies as well. Please feel free to stop by with donations and to say hi even if you're not in need of a headshot!

It had been six years since I had taken Erik's headshots, so this fall he came in for an update.

As a realtor, it is important for him to have photos he can use in his marketing. We made sure to get a classic, professional shot on a white background. But when I saw the fun blue shirt he brought as a second option we also got a more casual photo that captures his personality, too.

Erik is a fabulous realtor who is also a lover of the outdoors. I think both photos represent him well and that is always the goal when it comes to your headshots!

When your bestie's daughter asks for you to take some of her senior photos you happily oblige! 🦆💙

Lily is lucky to have a mom who is a photographer so she is getting several different settings for her photos. I was honored she asked me to do some in-studio photos and a few fun pics with her Jeep! Here are some of my faves from the studio portion, Jeep photos to come later!

Now that it's July, High School Senior photo season is in full swing! I still have a few dates left this summer for senior photo sessions. Scheduling is much easier before school starts so if you have a senior in need of some fun photos now is the time to get something on the calendar!

I love it when a client is not afraid to use color in their headshot! Imagine how much this photo will POP on a website or in a directory with several other headshots. 💕🧡❤💕🧡❤💕

I had the best time reconnecting with earlier this week. We had initially met years ago when I was photographing her friend's wedding. Fast forward 15 years and here we are working together to create some updated and fresh headshots for her business.
