Time has this way of slipping away from us. When you’re in the thick of it, it feels slow. But phases pass, cycles end, seasons change….you turn around, and years have gone by. I’m always excited for what’s yet to come, but it’s so crazy how truly fast our day to day lives fly by.

I love when kids’ personalities shine through during a shoot. It’s always my goal, even if it takes some time. It definitely happened on my friend Molly’s session, and it was magic. Laughs, tenderness, goofiness, exploring, crafting a grass mustache…all of it. That’s what I’m here for; all of you to shine through.

Soaking up her last few moments of being an only child 😭

Meanwhile, I’m trying to wrap my mind around how I could possibly love another child as much as I love her. It’ll be a lot of love, a good amount of tears, and deep down knowing that everything will be fine. 💚 It’ll be quite the journey for me, Maddie, and all of us, whenever baby girl is ready to join !

In the past few years, I've had a shift in the focus of my photography. I've become so drawn to documentary-style family photography and love the connection between family. I also really love showing how challenging and beautiful parenthood is. I can attribute this shift in focus to my daughter, who's taught me all about what it means to be a parent these past 2 years.
