When I stop to capture details, I often try to see the shot as a whole, considering their role in the space and how they connect back to the overall design intent. For me, it’s about understanding why these elements matter and capturing them in a way that contributes to the larger story.⁠

This shot was part of a larger, moody space I photographed for Emma Carole Paradis in her former home, a beautiful, character-filled property in Bedford, NH. ⁠

I’ve always believed that the best photographs do more than show you what a space looks like. They give you a sense of what it feels like to be there.

When I walk into a room, I’m paying attention to the light, the composition, and the details that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m thinking about what makes the space unique, what the designer intended, and how I can bring that story forward through my photographs.

But photography is also about people. The conversations, the trust, and the creative exchange are just as important to me as what happens behind the camera. Understanding someone’s vision allows me to bring my own perspective to the work while staying true to theirs.

After more than a decade of photographing interiors, that’s still what I love most. Finding something new in every space, working alongside people who inspire me, and creating images that have a point of view.

I’m looking forward to sharing more of that here.
