It's always an honor to capture images from the Charleston Ocean Racing Association (CORA) Military Salute Regatta in the Charleston Harbor presented by Blackbaud. The 6th Annual Event raises funds for local groups tied to serving the military organizations in the area and is always great to see active duty and veterans out on the water.
One of the highlights of the day was the honoring of 100-year-old veteran Walter Machowski that touched the hearts of all of those in attendance.
The winds did not cooperate for a "rousing" race but there were lots of smiling faces on all the boats.

A few images from Sunday's US vs UK International test with the USA Polocrosse World Cup Team in Pinehurst, NC The US captured the test by winning the day's match to take the series 2-1.
Polocrosse is an amazing sport to photograph with the amazing riders and the thundering horses - which to me are the stars of the day. And kudos to the crowd that came out to cheer on the competitors!

An exciting day capturing action at the US vs UK Polocrosse in Pinehurst Saturday. A thrilling finish to the day as the UK captured the match in overtime. Great to watch world class talent compete. Final match is today at 12:30 p.m.
