This is love, I am so happy that I will always have the opportunity to capture these moments for my family ( #1 clients) I’m so excited to meet my granddaughter. I wanted to show in these photos the togetherness of this family unit, as well as highlight them individually. The way they all care for each other and support one another is beautiful. These photos don’t just show a family expecting a new member, they show the excitement, the support, the care, and most importantly the love they have for each other and for the unmet newest member of their little tribe. I wish you all the best and my love, here’s to the future!

Turkey drive hosted, I’m so happy I was able to document a small part of the larger event. It was a great day, a little warm and very bright. Smiles and warm welcome hugs all around.

Today I started on a series of mini documentaries that will highlight some of the young men and women who have been almost and sometimes fully indoctrinated into a way of life that may lead to them being injured or even worse dead. This is a very real issue that doesn’t get nearly enough eyes on it. I’m proud that has asked me to help work on this project. For now all I will post are a select few photos we took during and after filming. It is my hope that you (the viewer) will become excited about this and watch once it’s finished. All the ❤️

I was asked if I could capture a special moment by my friend Jelani and I was happy to oblige. If you don’t already know Jay, he started a foundation to mentor young people and show them a better way to live. I’m not a very religious person, but Jay’s faith is extremely important to him. Yesterday he was baptizing one of his young mentees. I was invited and I captured as much as I could and then set about trying to put it together in a comprehensive way. There’s no audio but the video says so much. I’m grateful that I was asked to be at this special moment. Please go to his page and support in whatever way possible. @ Jayfoundation_

It’s been over a year since I’ve done any real shooting 📸, but I finally had a good reason for getting out and capturing moments. My good friend and brother invited me to come to an event that his foundation was putting on. In a neighborhood and an area that many people have misconceptions about. The day I shot these photos Jay was having a back pack drive, giving backpacks to as many children as he could. It was a true honor to be asked to document this, and I was received with open arms, handshakes, and smiles. The heat was excruciating but could not get this community down! I love seeing the faces of happy children, parents, and volunteers giving their time to help. What Jay is creating is pure love and kindness, he grew up without so much and now he gives everything he has.

Let’s go!! This has been on my mind for a while now and I finally felt like I’d address it. More and more people are in two wheels and I have been almost pushed off the road, smashed into, flipped off, overtaken in my lane, and a lot more! I’m pleading with everyone to please watch out for bikes! And conversely riders please be safe, you can’t blame anyone if you get hurt out there by doing dumb s**t! Just be safe and get home in one piece, I love all of y’all, see you in the next one!

I haven’t been feeling very artsy or creative, however I have been wanting to play with the settings on my camera for a while now. I made this because I felt like making something…anything might spark something inside me.
