I want to thank everyone who helped make my first trial such a success!
Silver Stone Castle was absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire weekend. I watched some incredible searches in unique locations that were thoughtfully designed by a wonderful CO, and I got to spend time with great friends. I truly couldn't have asked for more.
Every person who competed showed up with a smile, ready to play the game with their dogs. That's a win in itself.
Amy, your knowledge and experience are invaluable, but your willingness to share them and help me learn is truly extraordinary. Your energy and spirit are contagious, and I feel so lucky to learn from the very best. Thank you for all the guidance, support, and encouragement along the way.
Amie, your dedication and kindness are your superpowers. I still can't believe you traveled all the way out here just to help make this trial the best it could be. It simply would not have been the same without you.
Lori, you made everything feel so easy. Your flexibility, support, and willingness to be my first CO meant so much to me. Thank you for helping both me and my boy learn so much about close-proximity hides and for making the learning process fun.
Tracey and Chris, thank you for being such fun, supportive judges. Your encouragement, enthusiasm, and expertise were appreciated more than you know.
Mariah and Abby, you are two of the amazing women who taught me to love the score room. Thank you for being part of my first trial and for all you've shared with me along the way.
To all of my volunteers: wow! Somehow, 87,000 square feet felt small with the amount of love and support you showed every human and dog this weekend. I only wish I had more time to chat with each of you. Thank you for giving up your time and for helping make this event so special. I appreciate every one of you.
Karen, thank you for coming to photograph such a fantastic site. I can't wait to see your beautiful photos and relive all the wonderful memories from this weekend.
Tina, you took away so much stress without even realizing it was exactly what I needed. You have always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and are a huge reason I'm involved in this silly sport in the first place. Hunting for Q-tips... who would have thought? I can never repay you for bringing my best boy, Bo, into my life and for everything we've experienced together because of him.
Tina and Jeff, thank you for making this whole adventure even more fun and memorable. I am so grateful for your support and your willingness to help whenever I've needed it.
