Not one single engagement session in Miami is the same.

Why? Because there is only one you, and what you and your partner want out of a session is completely different from what others want.

My job as a photographer is to listen to what you want and then make a plan to make it happen.

I would say that the most successful engagement sessions are the ones that involve trust in the process and curiosity to try things that might sound silly at first, but can create a gorgeous photo. 😜

One thing that will always make me extra happy: an album! 🫶🏻

To flip through pages and relive a day—even if you weren’t there, you can sense the energy of the moment. What a privilege it is to flip through pages and have a little trip to the past!

This gorgeous album is a 10x10 distressed leather (color: Pebble), blind-stamped with the couple’s names and wedding date (font: Baskerville), 18 spreads/32 pages.

A little love for for creating my favorite album design software. It makes turning your wedding photos into beautiful albums so much easier. 🫶🏻

Looking through over 30k images was not an easy task, but it was a beautiful reminder of how much I love photographing amazing couples and families and what an opportunity it is to do this job!

I’ve learned a lot in the past 15 years as a photographer, and I will always continue to learn! But at this stage, I’m feeling so secure in my work, and I can’t wait to photograph more amazing weddings and families.

It all started 20+ years ago with a set of self-portraits...

You might know some things about me, but perhaps you don’t know how my career as a photographer started.

After I got married, I noticed I had very few photos of me. So my husband bought me a camera, and I started taking self-portraits.

This was before “selfies” were a thing.

What I didn’t know was that it was training season to be the photographer I am today.

Stepping in front of the camera is not easy, especially when you’re not used to being photographed. I know that feeling so well, so now I meet all my clients with appreciation and empathy.

My goal is for them to feel a bit less intimidated in front of my camera, guide them through our session, and deliver images where they see themselves as worthy of having those images. The way I felt when creating my own self-portraits 🫶🏻

We take thousands of photos, save them to our phones, and then… keep scrolling.

But there’s something different about sitting down with an album and actually taking the time to look at the photographs. To turn a page, stop at a moment, and let yourself go back there for a little while.

That’s one of the reasons I love albums so much. They make you slow down.

And with SmartAlbums | Pro Album Software creating them is simple enough that I can spend less time worrying about layouts and more time thinking about how I want my clients’ stories to live on the page.

Because some memories deserve more than a swipe. 🤍

P.s: a trip to Paris with my favorite people will be forever a memory I want to go back over and over again 🫶🏻
