Closing the year off right, I dropped my Genesis NFT on Thank God first and foremost, my supportive wife, family + friends that got me out of a imposter syndrome funk I’ve been in what has felt like 2 years. Not sure if it’s all purely pandemic related but Basel inspired the heck out of me. Thanks to everyone sharing and retweeting on Twitter (better platform for web3 - find me ) Description below of why I chose this as my first piece on the blockchain.
A moment frozen in time, the right time. This image depicts all the limits our minds create. The illusion of what the edge is and how that is a barrier for us creatively. A mental barrier that so often becomes imposter syndrome.
After meeting some skaters downtown Miami, we hung out and started shooting around the city, creating as we went. We wanted different places you wouldn't see people skating at.
The wind was a refreshing reminder that this is what I LOVE to do: capture vivid moments. And there I was, right place, right time. He is about 6-7 feet away from the railing which is the edge of this building and I caught it at the precise moment to show as if he was on the rail. It's an illusion, just like imposter syndrome.
This is my Genesis NFT coming into the space after months of observing and just being a part of the community. This will mean something one day. I deserve to be in this space just as I am grateful to be in this space. No doubts, no illusions, just pure love. Thanks for reading. Happy New Year. 2021 was amazing in many ways, 2022 will be even better here in Charlotte. Diving in more in the city and art. letloveguide ♡
