First shoot and trial run with the DZOFILM OFFICIAL ACCOUNT Arcana Anamorphic lenses on A Cam paired with the Catta Ace’s on B Cam. I wanted to test the practicality of blending the anamorphic lenses on the C400 that can shoot open gate with the spherical lenses on the R5c, which cannot shoot open gate. I’m pretty pleased with the results given the circumstance. What do you think?

No long exposure, no camera trigger, no pre record. Just some reactive timing, a bit of luck, and a lot lightning!

Of 339 photos taken, 70 had something in them. Of those 70 this was my favorite given the additional colors and the way the cloud intersects the lightning, and even the off angle from reactively taking shots. Nature put on a great light show last night!

Spicy baby gators and mama gator.

Had the opportunity to observe several of these little ones while out in with the mama gator watching close by. Some of them had to be only 8 inches from nose to tail and blended in so well while in the grass. A number of people passed by only noticing the mother, so I had to warn some people not to get too close to her for pictures since they weren’t aware the babies were also present and even closer to the path at times. Fortunately I had a long lens to capture their little looks and attitudes 😎

Alligator Osteoderms

Not only do they look awesome as a protective armor, but these bones also help absorb and disperse heat and bloodflow, acting kind of like their own personal solar panels in a way!
