Tomorrow, Elias releases his new title Bad Movie.

I had the privilege of photographing Elias during part of the creative journey leading up to this release, from Joshua Tree to Los Angeles.

For much of the album’s visual universe, I worked in tandem with Tazzio Paris, whose own creative magic sublimed my photography, helping bring to life the visual world Elias envisioned for the album.

For this portrait, I processed the image myself, creating a cloud of pink tones and making it part of my Portrait series. A coffee cup ☕️ —a reminder of the many conversations, From Paris to Miami, ideas, and transcontinental meetings that helped shape this creative adventure.

Go discover Bad Movie tomorrow—and don’t forget to save it.

People sometimes ask what “mixed media” means in my work.

This piece began nearly 10 years ago with a photograph I took on film in New York and later developed by hand. The coastal map entered my possession four years ago, thanks to The Old Print Shop in New York. I started this painting less than a month ago and finished it last week.

Fragments of a late 19th century coastal map of Florida, painting, texture, memory, movement, and light slowly came together as if the work had been assembling itself quietly over time.

Recently, while listening to Nafshi by Ishay Ribo & Moti Steinmetz, the word “LADAT” — לדעת — stayed with me.

To know.
To recognize.
To understand something beyond words.

Some artworks are not created in a single moment.
They emerge through years of observation, memory, intuition, and lived experience until everything suddenly aligns.

A photograph taken nearly a decade ago on film in New York. Developed by hand. Kept somewhere quietly inside me for years. Last week, it finally found its place. Fragments of a late 19th century coastal map of Florida, paint, texture, memory, movement, and this child illuminated by a fleeting light....

Many ways to fill your cup and elevate your soul—mine is creating.

Grateful to be part of The People’s Artist alongside and Johnny Depp 🎉

As I approach 10 years since my first solo show in NYC, this moment feels like part of a larger journey—one that continues to grow through art and through projects like Unchained Mothering, giving visibility to what is often unseen.

If you feel like supporting me, you can vote through the link in my story—it takes 5 seconds and truly makes a difference 💛

Grateful to share this moment as Wow You Are Amazing was recently acquired at The Bass Museum auction by the museum’s Director of Development.
As I approach 10 years since my first solo show in NYC (May 5, 2016), this feels like a meaningful milestone.

April 23 (Bass) / May 3 / May 5 — Decade Release

A quiet installation… in the middle of everything else.

I’ll be a little less present here until May 3.

Not because things slowed down—
but because they’re building.

I’m receiving a few VIP guests starting tomorrow night,
and will be immersed in that time as well.

A few moments to share in the meantime:

— My work will be on view at the Bass Museum on April 23,
including “Wow! You Are Amazing!” — a piece that carries something deeply personal, and a reminder we don’t hear enough.

— I’ve just installed a small exhibition in Coconut Grove—more soon.
Limited edition fine art photographs are available.

— Unchained Mothering is currently on view as a self-guided exhibition in Peacock Park.
I’ll be taking a few people through it—join me if you feel called.

If you’re looking to collect,
my work is available at The Old Print Shop (NYC),
as well as in Las Vegas, on Saatchi Art, and on Cohart.

And something I’ve been quietly preparing—

On May 5, 2026,
it will be 10 years since my first solo show.

To mark this, I’ll be releasing a series of unique and extremely limited works—
some of which will close editions.

If you’d like early access,
send me a DM or email me.

I’ll share more soon.

If you came to my studio right now…
Would I open the door?

Probably not yet.
But I’d let you see this —
things are moving fast here,
and each piece is unique.

This is a glimpse of what’s coming next.

A few pieces are already available (link in bio) —
and new ones will be released soon.
what does this mean 😍😉☝️

It carries something very personal—at the intersection of my work: traces left behind, messages to oneself and to others, and the quiet power of details that can shift the way we see and feel.

“Wow! You Are Amazing!” is a reminder.
We are often our own harshest critics—yet we all need to be reminded of how much strength, beauty, and presence we already hold.

For those who feel connected, this art-on-paper piece is available through the Night at the Museum auction at the The Bass Museum—supporting the museum’s exhibitions and education programs.
