Learn about the magic of Camp Kesem, directly from caregivers ✨

Each year, I have the honor & privilege to create longer-form video projects for my home chapter, , to showcase at their Make the Magic gala. This project in particular was an extremely special one, as I was able to speak directly with three empowering, strong, courageous & kind caregivers who spoke (in both English & Spanish, showcasing the beautiful culture throughout the chapter) from their personal experiences on what provides for their families. These interviews are ones that I will hold in my heart forever. 💙💚

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to create this project, and for allowing me to tell your stories since 2018 in both photo and video format. I am thankful to continue pursuing my love for storytelling, through the non-profit that holds such a special place in my heart. Geoffrey owns this gorgeous Harley-Davidson, and at the end of their engagement session, he and Perri did an outfit change to take some photos with the included. this was such a great way to end an already fun-filled session! another post coming to the feed soon with their dreamy engagement photos, but these were too good to not make into a reel 🏍️

on a hidden trail within one of their favorite parks to walk their beautiful dog, Nicholas set up a truly stunning proposal for Alexa. with their closest family and friends close behind them as she went on a scavenger hunt, the final location was filled with flower petals, candles, twinkling lights, and hanging photos from their favorite memories together. Alexa's pure joy & gratitude was so evident. it was an honor to be a part of such a special moment! congratulations on your engagement, Alexa & Nicholas 💛

to be seen & known is to be loved, and Dillon knew exactly how to pull off the most iconic proposal for Mia! 💍

this proposal was so much fun to plan with Dillon while he was in NYC. they both live up north, and with an upcoming trip to Miami for Mia's job approaching, we plotted how I would be able to get on the boat with them to Raccoon Island -- a hidden gem spot (one that I had never heard of prior, and I've lived in Miami for 29 years!) that stole her heart a few years ago on a trip down south, because there, she was able to get up close & personal with her favorite animals 🦝 we schemed exactly when he would transition from feeding the animals while I photographed them for content for the boat company, to popping the question! special shout out to Captain Matthew who drove the boat & put on his best acting skills with me to sell the story the best that we could 😂

but seriously, this session was such a special one. I met Dillon in 2018 at a national conference for Kesem, and all these years later, he was referred to me to photograph this moment when he started to plan. I loved every second of it; they are so in love & their joy was so evident. sooo many fun photos were captured, so much so that I'll be doing a second post from this soon! 📸
