Ever heard of Senior Sunrise? 😅

It’s a thing.
A realllyyyy big thing.

It’s this thing where all the seniors in Miami go to the beach at sunrise, and it just so happened to be on the day of THIS maternity session. LOL lucky us!! When we showed up, I swear you almost had to pick our jaws up off the floor because we could not believe what we walked into.

If this happened to me 5 years ago, I may have panicked, may have tried to go to a different location maybe, I’m not sure but I sure as hell would have felt super intimidated by the crowds. I’m so happy this happened to me now, because I came and treated this as a challenge lol. I was so impressed with my client who believe it or not, is not a model (I know, surprising to me too) and absolutely killed it!! She showed up and showed out even with everyone watching.

These Beautiful Things ♥️

Fresh 48 sessions are so special.

They happen right there in the hospital where you welcomed your baby into the world, in the place where everything suddenly changes.

Your first days as a family of four.
Siblings meeting for the very first time.
The way your partner looks at you in complete awe of what you’ve just done.
Tiny fingers. Sleepy stretches. The energy in the room.
The love, the excitement, the nerves.

All the best feelings.

These are the moments that pass so quickly, but somehow become the moments you want to remember forever.

Welcome to Real Talk ♥️

If you’re a photographer who’s figuring things out, just getting started, or simply trying to make it in this crazy little photography world… I made these reels for you.

This whole thing actually started with a reel I posted a whileeee back. My baby sister watched it and told me, “It feels like big sister energy.”

And I loved that.

Because being a big sister has always been such a big part of who I am. But as I’ve grown and evolved, other parts of my identity have taken center stage too. Motherhood, being a wife, being a photographer, building a business, a lot of big roles have taken over.

And I thought… maybe I don’t have to leave that big sister part of me behind. Maybe I can bring her with me for this one.

So, Real Talk is my little corner of the internet where I’ll share the things I wish someone had told me when I was starting out. The lessons, the tips, the business stuff, the photography stuff, the things I would tell my little sister if she was getting started with photography.

The best season for sunrise sessions is upon us. ✨
Fall is easily my favorite time of year for sunrise sessions. The sun doesn’t rise until 7am, the summer crowds have faded, the temperatures are finally a little more crisp, and the beaches feel peaceful again.
There’s something so magical about watching the world wake up while capturing your family’s sweetest moments in that soft, golden light.
It truly doesn’t get better than this.
