https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/colormemorystudio Being an artist means expressing thoughts, feelings, experiences through the images I generate. Working with different materials allows me to communicate my expressive ideas to others using the skills and abilities I have explored and developed during my time at Montserrat. During the four years I’ve attended Montserrat, I’ve noticed my understanding of art, of art making and the history of art, has matured considerably. The ability to effectively use the formal elements such as line, value, shape and color in effective compositions has advanced considerably from the level I possessed when I first attended school. I’ve not only gained confidence throughout each semester but I’ve learned about many materials and many different forms of creating art. These works explore the relationship between realism and abstract form. They consists of abstract imagery of trees and other subject matter reflecting the colors felt during the process of manipulation and the chaos surrounding the environment. By using different materials, techniques and gestures, the work will contain a relationship with abstract color palettes and realistic imagery. Other works found within consist of educational exploration studies, works shown in different locations and sold pieces. Much of what's to come is due to all past works whether or not they've been completed. Michael...

✨ Color Memory Studio — Art That Captures What Matters Most.

10/10/2026

🎓✨ A Milestone Worth Celebrating! ✨🎓

I'm excited to share that I've successfully completed the Ice House Intrapreneurial Mindset Workshop, earning my Intermediate Certification!

This experience was about so much more than earning a certificate. It was an opportunity to challenge my thinking, embrace new perspectives, connect with inspiring individuals, and discover new ways to turn ideas into opportunities.

As the artist behind Color Memory Studio, I believe creativity and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. This workshop reminded me that growth begins with curiosity, determination, and the willingness to step outside your comfort zone.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this experience possible, especially my husband Victor Ponce, the instructors, organizers, fellow participants and sisters who came to support and made this journey so meaningful.

Here's to continued learning, meaningful connections, creative thinking, and turning possibilities into reality! 🥂🎨

💛 The journey doesn't end here. It's only the beginning!

A little behind-the-scenes look at yesterday’s painting session. 🎨

This oil painting is still evolving, and I’m letting color, movement, memory, and intuition guide each layer as I work. I love watching a piece slowly reveal what it wants to become.

More progress coming soon.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who stepped forward, and reflect on the courage and unity that brought a nation together. 🇺🇸

Always remembered. Forever in our hearts. Never forget.

Work in progress ✨

I’m exploring the space where abstract movement and peaceful landscape meet. This piece is still evolving, but I love seeing the vibrant colors, flowing shapes, and scenic view begin to come together into one story.

Art has a way of capturing memory, emotion, and place all at once and this painting is becoming exactly that.
