Love this photo.

It took me about half an hour to train this guy to sit on the end of the stick. But, I'm very happy with the outcome.

I spent much of the past week at the PPLA - Professional Photographers of Louisiana Convention.

One big part of the convention is the Photo Competition. i entered 4 prints and 3 of the 4 scored an 80 or above which puts them in a category "deserving of a MERIT". The 4th scored a 79.

All of the photos were displayed on the wall with other winners.

The New Orleans Custom House photo, named WARPED ARCHITECTURE, received 1st Place in the Electronic Imaging category.

After 2 years of competing, I've learned that getting 6 merit quality photos out of 6 entries is THE award to get. I can't get there by just entering 4 photos. BUT, 3 of 4 with merit scores (and the 4th missing by 1 point) is still an accomplishment so I'm very happy.

W.I.D.E. ANGLE - WEIRD FACE - SELFIE ALERT

This little boy had a hard time smiling for his photos unless lots of people were standing on their heads and tap dancing to get him to smile.

Later in the day, I pulled out the W.I.D.E. angle, fisheye lens and started goofing around. P**F, he smiled real big. He was amazed at the shape of the funny lens. Notice how he put his hands on his "hips" as he is smiling.

Oh, and he ran away before I could get the focus right on this NON automatic focus lens as I shoot with the camera facing me.

What fun.

Charlene Faustermann Photography is looking for about 5 DOG/PUPPY owners who would love their precious pet to be a MODEL for some upcoming advertisement pieces.

You will receive 1-11x14, 1- 8x10 and FB banners of 2 different poses used in the printed products.

The event will take place at my house in zip code 70001. We will be under the carport, which is out of the sun and possible rain. It will be postponed if their is driving rain or freezing temperatures. I hate the cold as much as your pup does.

Date = Saturday, December 6, 2014 starting at 10am.
