When the stars align ✨️🤍
Some love stories don’t begin with fireworks…
They begin with timing, with healing, and with the quiet confidence of two people who’ve lived enough life to know exactly what they want.
This is my Nana — the most selfless, loving soul… and also the most fiery little woman you’ll ever meet. She’s the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back, her home to sleep in, and her very last dime without hesitation. She has loved all of us so loudly for so long, that her love feels like something you can actually step into.
A huge part of my childhood lives in her home:
sitting at her breakfast nook, taking naps together in her hammock, planting flowers in her garden beds… and yes — even learning cartwheels in her front yard, with Nana cheering me on like it was the Olympics.
And then there’s Papa V — Vince — the steady voice of reason, the one with the best personality, and the best way with words. The man who, from the moment he came into our lives, has made it his mission to love Nana in a way that leaves absolutely no doubt.
When Nana and Papa V met, they were both divorced — not searching from a place of desperation, but from a place of clarity. They weren’t looking for anyone… they were choosing the right one. And lucky for all of us, they chose each other.
Together, they now share 6 kids, 18 grandkids, and 9 great grandbabies — a whole legacy built on love, laughter, and family.
Their wedding song was "Keeper of the Stars,” a tribute to their mothers who had both passed — and to this day, they often thank their moms for aligning the stars so their paths would cross. And honestly… I believe it. Some loves feel like coincidence. Theirs feels like something bigger — like the kind of love that was meant to find its way home.
I admire them more than I can explain.
I pray every Josie finds their Vince… and every Vince finds their Josie. Because everyone deserves to be loved fully and loudly, without condition.
Forever and ever. 🤍✨
