Maybe the secret to life isn’t wishing for more time, but learning to really see the time we’re already in? 🕰️
And newborn days might be the greatest reminder of that.
The sleepy stretches.
The way their entire hand wraps around one of your fingers.
The tiny flakes of newborn skin.
The weight of them curled against your chest.
The way you could stare at their face for hours and somehow still not memorize it enough. 🥹
When you’re living it, these moments can feel endless.
And then, somehow, they’re gone.
That’s what I love so much about photographing newborns. It isn’t really about creating the “perfect” newborn photo. It’s about preserving the details you don’t realize you’re going to miss until they’ve already changed.
Because someday, you would give almost anything to walk back into this room for five minutes.🫶🏼🥹😭
To hold them this small again.
To hear those tiny newborn sounds.
To remember exactly what this version of your family felt like.
Photographs are a way of keeping those moments alive, forever.
A way to look at an ordinary Tuesday years from now and realize it was never ordinary at all. 🤍
Take the pictures. Be in them. Hold them a little longer.
These are the days you’ll spend the rest of your life wishing you could visit just one more time. 🫶🏼
