8 years ago, I decided to take something that had always been a hobby and a passion, and make it into something I could do forever. There is nothing I love more than making someone feel beautiful. I LOVE that you can capture a moment in time and make it last forev
er. Those smiles, the butterflies, the nervous energy of engaged couples. The tiny-ness and subtle quirks in a newborn--that stage is so fleeting. I love working with kids and seeing their silly, sweet, stubborn personalities shine! The love a family has for one another as they huddle together for a portrait. Catching dad making the kids laugh hysterically, or watching moms loving gaze fall on her children. My style of photography is REAL--Lifestyle portraiture. I believe in free-posing newborns. I don't like to have an image be completely void of your child's actual personality. I like to capture "moments". I will of course, pose families in some pictures, but I don't nitpick on posture or everyone looking at the camera for every frame like they would in a studio setting. Those real moments deserve to be caught on camera, and come to life. And that's what I strive to do--every time I pick up my camera.
