The holiday season may not start until Thanksgiving at home, but at work it has been Christmas since October. Sprinkled among the school Picture Days are a few Holiday Picture Days making the fall season extremely busy and a bit of a whirlwind . Here are a few images from a nursery school that I've been photographing for about 17 years now. These are some of the lovely families that I've had the pleasure of photographing over the past several years and I'm always amazed how much they've grown from year to year. This first full week of 2025 has me out of hibernation from the holiday break and back to school picture days. The fall season is always a bit hectic with simultaneous school and holiday portraits, while the winter season has a more relaxed, calm pace to it. I usually do a few holiday photo posts thought out November and December, but this year the days seemed to have gotten away from me! So here is one big giant post of some of this year's holiday photos. What does the photographer do when she wants to be in the photo? The self timer, of course! Happy holidays from my family to yours. I am grateful for all the directors, principals and parents who continue to invite me back each year for their school photos, and for those who recommend me to others.
