Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk takes flight.
We have many birds land on this cedar tree in our backyard. This young Red-tailed Hawk landed on the cedar tree to check things out for a bit and then moved on.
Fun to have the bigger birds come for a visit.

Eastern Kingbird perches atop this branch looking to sn**ch up flying insects. It’s not called a Kingbird for nothing. Eastern Kingbirds have a crown of yellow, orange, or red feathers on its head, which is usually concealed. The crown raises up when it encounters potential predators.
