In January I made a decision to put things on hold, as i had other commitments in my life that needed to take priority. But the comeback is necessary.

To admit you want to have a comeback means you have to admit you weren't what you were supposed to be. You dropped below your own standard. But I’m blessed to know that I am elevating towards my level of greatness. I’m back and better.

This is ME. . .

My name is Demi Kay and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Memphis. I am blessed with not one, but two wonderful parents. I have four amazing siblings that I am able to call my own. I also have 4 dope nephews who makes my world. I pursued an education degree with a focus in Physical Education and the University of Memphis. I find my strength and peace in God’s grace. I find my heart and passion in serving my country in the world’s greatest Navy. And I find my purpose in the awesome young ladies that I coach at Crosstown High School.

2018 was the year I decided that I was going to take my feet out of the quick sand and put forth what God has placed in me to do. He blessed me with a new church home, Innovation Church, that I have been able to grow in, a new way of living that has changed me forever, a career that I love to do, and support system that is out of this world. I was also blessed with many gifts of creative arts from instruments, singing, drawing, athletics and poetry.

For a short while, I took photos as child and absolutely loved it - photography was a hidden passion that I never was able to pursue due to my over commitment to basketball. While I am a college graduate and have a lot more time on my hand, I decided to finally go ahead and do exactly what I wanted to and used the gifts and opportunities that was placed in my life. So here I am, 2018, trying to be all that God has appointed me to be and I will continue to wholeheartedly walk into my purpose. Thank you for supporting this journey God has me on!
