A first touch is when the bride and groom share a private moment before the ceremony without seeing each other. They may hold hands, pray, talk, laugh, or simply breathe for a second before everything begins.

And honestly, that’s what makes it so beautiful.

In the middle of a busy wedding day, we helped create space for them to slow down, be present, and take in the moment together. No chaos. No pressure. Just two people holding on to each other before stepping into covenant.

When the groom kicks his leg up during “you may kiss the bride,” you already know this wedding had personality 😂

This day was full of love, laughter, memories, and a whole lot of joy. We even got to capture it inside the church Derrick grew up in, so this one hit a little different.

The couple was laid back, funny, and just a blessing to work with from start to finish. Moments like this remind us why we love capturing weddings through both photo and video. The smiles, the tears, the vows, the little funny moments nobody wants to forget.
