dream / lament / mourning - an exploratory project. when .wolfzorn.artist asked me if i had the capacity to take on this project based on their dream, i knew it was probably going to be one of the most deep, raw, emotional shoots i had ever taken on. but my gosh - the outcome is beyond words. these are just some of the behind the scenes photos from the process. i plan to share more, i am just trying to figure out the words to go with them.
thank you, abby, for trusting me with this piece. and also thanks to jacob for letting us use his land and for making sure safety precautions were taken in handling the gun. this was such an intimate, beautiful, haunting experience creating these images. stay tuned for more ☁️

Hey, friends! Sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately. I have been hard at work editing the THOUSANDS of photos I have taken over the past few weeks. I have been so incredibly grateful for all the support from clients & the community loving on & reposting my photos. I wanted to share some more of my photos from the 32nd annual Charity Gala. This event will go down in history for me as one of the most insanely awesome events I have ever had the privilege of being asked to photograph. With that said, if you are looking for an event photographer who sees the side of things that you don’t normally see or you want a fresh take on your event - I’m your gal 📸 my passion is this - capturing the angles and sides of events that you don’t see and making it come alive in photos. no words for this past weekend. it was also just a dream. i plan on posting more & saying more after i give a chance to post the photos first & unveil the magic that was gala weekend. for now, I will leave you all with this shot of and his incredible band & say this: thank you a million to the community foundation of west tennessee for trusting me with capturing this weekend. it has been one of the greatest honors of my career thus far to do so. more to come, and of course check the foundation’s media pages to see the photos very very soon! 🖤🤍🥂

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🎉🥳 I am so grateful for another year of life. It also hit me that this is my first birthday as a full-time business owner & entrepreneur. Man - this last year has shown me how much life can change in 365 days. On my last birthday, I was still a college intern at my office job…now I’m trying to figure out post-college life while owning a photography business. But it’s oh-so sweet to be here in this season of life & I wouldn’t trade it. I have been blessed to have met so many wonderful people over the past year and worked with so many others here in Jackson throughout the short time that I have been doing this business thing full time. From becoming the photographer for to writing and photographing articles for and even popping up with handmade goods at markets in downtown Jackson, this past year has been full of so many good things. What a privilege and honor it is to be here doing what I love ❤️ here’s to many more years of working hard to serve my community well through photography & visual media ❤️ (also can we take a minute to appreciate the fact that I used my business headshots for my birthday post because they are just THAT FUN?! outdid herself with these ✨)
