So, I didn't exactly come out of photog retirement, but I did manage to dust off my camera and go on an adventure with a dear friend and her sweet daughter to capture some senior pictures. Hard to believe that this little lady is graduating high school this year. She knew exactly what she wanted to do and where she wanted to go, and these pictures were so much fun to take. Happy senior year, Aedyn!

I've received multiple inquiries in the last 2 weeks, so I wanted to take a minute and let you all know what's going on.

This time last year I put photography on the back burner for my pursuit toward a master's degree. That plan is still in place, and I'm hoping to have my degree completed by very early 2022. I thank you all so much for your patience. It warms my heart that so many people are still asking for pictures. I definitely plan to return to photography once I am able to give it the time and attention that is required to produce quality images that I can stand behind.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who've allowed me to capture their special moments. I hope to be back at it soon. ❤️📸

There is power in admitting when you have too much on your plate, and that's what I'm choosing to do this year. As a wife, mom of 2, grad student, fulltime respiratory therapist, I won't have the ability to offer Christmas picture sessions again this year. I don't like to do anything half-heartedly. This year has worn on me significantly and I don't have the focus or the time to devote to doing a good job. I will be taking a hiatus until at least spring in order to devote as much time and energy as possible to my family while we try to get through the uncertain winter season ahead. Thankyou so much for your support and your understanding, and I look forward to taking pictures again soon 📷❤️
