To the horse dads, the dads up before sunrise loading trailers and carrying buckets, and the ones standing ringside even when they have no idea what’s going on. Thank you for showing up anyway.

To the coaches, mentors, friends, stepdads, grandfathers, and the people who step into that role in their own way — your support, presence, and steady encouragement mean more than you probably realize.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long days, the rides to the barn, the help behind the scenes, and for always being someone we can count on. The people who show up consistently become some of the most important people in our lives.

There’s something special about the quiet, in-between moments 🤍 The ones where nothing is posed, just a true connection unfolding naturally.

Horse & rider sessions don’t have to be perfectly styled or planned. Sometimes the most meaningful images come from simply being present together. Don’t let the idea of “not knowing how to pose” hold you back.

I actually wasn’t there for this client, I was on another shoot and captured this on a whim. I was so happy to hear this photo ended up getting framed and I love the little detail she pointed out - they’re perfectly in sync, both stepping forward with their left foot 🥹
