Everyone always asks me what the name of my business means so we will start with that! Several years ago when I was still working at Portrait Innovations my dad made the comment that I must have gotten my creative side from his dad (My PeePaw). My PeePaw used to love to write poetry and take pictures of everything he believed to be interesting. In my opinion he was the "right kind of photographer"

meaning he saw things in a different light than everyone else. When I look at the photos he has taken I can see exactly what he was trying to capture when he took it. Although he passed in 2000 that is something I will always share with him and have in common with him. Therefore, I'm thankful to him for this wonderful gift he has passed down to me. My PeePaw's name was Lester Pinkney Parsons. I'm sure you can imagine how much he despised his middle name. So I thought there would be no better way to show him how grateful I am to have inherited an eye for creativity so that's when I came up with PINKNEY PHOTO! What an awesome tribute, in the perfect nerve racking kind of way :) Thank you again PeePaw! Love you and miss you so much sweet man!!!
