I feel like I’ve been running flat out for nine months now. Trying to get the studio working the best I can. Building relationships. Learning lessons. Shooting all kinds of interesting and wonderful people. Trying to build a better life for myself. To make the dream happen. It’s been awesome, but taxing. I’ve always liked winters, and this one I’m especially looking forward to. I like shooting in the winter. It’s quiet. No mosquitoes buzzing in my ear. No people yelling in their cell phones who I can hear from 100 yards away. Snow covers distracting elements. Reduces visual clutter. I love it, but it’s also stressful. Less paying jobs in the winter. In some ways, that’s OK, but this year I hope to work with more people to play in the studio. I don’t know what I’m trying to say.
