Mr. & Mrs. Kana 🤍

It feels like just yesterday we were wandering around taking Brennan and Brooke's engagement photos, and now they're officially husband and wife! Watching their story come full circle has been such a joy.

One thing that stood out all day long was the way Brennan looks at Brooke. It is the very definition of love. You can tell he would do absolutely anything for his girl, and it was so special to witness.

They exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church before celebrating just down the road at Shine KC Hall. They made their getaway from the church in one seriously cool car!

Now let's talk about the cake... cake, cake, and MORE cake! I can honestly say I've never been to a wedding with so many delicious cakes, and I was eyeing it all night because at this point I was 38 weeks pregnant- LOL. From the longest grand march filled with all of their favorite people to ending the night with a sparkler exit, every moment was full of so much joy.

Congratulations again, Brennan and Brooke! Thank you for trusting me to capture such an unforgettable day. 🤍

✨ I'm Back! ✨

What an incredibly magical month it has been. I truly can't believe an entire month has already flown by! 💕

Our sweet Laramie has already changed so much since these photos were taken at just two weeks old. It's amazing how quickly they grow, and I'm soaking up every precious moment.

While I've been enjoying maternity leave and all the newborn snuggles, I've fallen a little behind on sharing sessions. Let me tell you, I have SO many beautiful galleries waiting to make their way onto your newsfeed! I've missed y'all & I'm so excited to be back behind the screen sharing all the amazing sessions.

✨ Maternity Leave Update ✨

Our sweet Laramie Rae is here, and we are home soaking up every second of this precious season. 🤍
If you've reached out during this wonderfully chaotic, life-changing time, please know there's a good chance your message got lost in the newborn haze. 😅 If you haven't heard back from me, please reach out again—I promise I'm not ignoring you!

A few reminders while I'm on maternity leave:

📸 Fall Family Sessions
Sign-ups for fall family sessions will be opening in July! Keep an eye on the page for announcements because these spots tend to fill quickly.

💕Gallery Cleanup
Any galleries that are over one year old will be at risk of being deleted to make room for future sessions. Please make sure you've downloaded and backed up your images. If you need help accessing your gallery, don't hesitate to reach out!

💕Booking Sessions
I plan to return to sessions full-time in mid-July. If you'd like to get on the books, feel free to message me and we'll start planning your session.

Mr. & Mrs. Watkins ✨

What a day celebrating Hannah and Nate!

This was the largest wedding party I have ever had the privilege of photographing, and they came ready to PARTY. From the moment the day began, the energy was unmatched. The ceremony lasted less than five minutes because these two could not wait to get out and celebrate with their favorite people. Nate literally scooped Hannah up and carried her out of the chapel as newlyweds (probably to help Hannah keep up with his very long legs🤣).

Hannah was one of the most laid-back brides I've ever worked with. Find the picture of her girls throwing her in the air while she's in her wedding dress! The entire wedding party showed up for a good time and kept the celebration going all day long, especially once they hit the dance floor.

It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, love, and some of the best people. Hannah and Nate, thank you for allowing me to capture such an unforgettable celebration. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! ✨

Also shout out to my second shooter- Savana- for making sure I was hydrated all day and taking breaks. You are the best!

Mr. & Mrs. Prause ✨

Some wedding days just feel like a beautiful full-circle moment, and Madi & Brant's day was exactly that.

The very first session I ever had with these two was a sunflower mini session, and every session after seemed to include tractors somewhere along the way. So seeing their wedding day filled with sunflowers and tractors felt incredibly special.

The first look reactions had me CRYING. From the sweet moments with her girls, to her dad's emotional reaction, to the absolute tears of laughter when Brant had a "first touch" with his best man in a wedding dress... HILARIOUS YA'LL.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of watching Madi and Brant's love grow, and they remain one of the most genuine couples I've ever worked with. Every detail of their day was thoughtfully planned and filled with meaning, making it such a joy to document.

As if the day couldn't have been more perfect, a storm rolled in right after portraits were finished, bringing what I like to think was a little extra good luck on their wedding day.

And the tractor exit with fireworks? The perfect ending to a night that was so uniquely them. We were all pretty excited that the tractor started right up, too. 😉 Fun Fact: Madi and Brant repainted the tractor for their wedding day and it was sharp looking!!

Madi & Brant, thank you for trusting me to document such a meaningful and beautiful chapter of your story. It has been an honor to watch your journey unfold, and I can't wait to see where life takes you next. Here's to the rest of your story. ❤️
