After 16 years of hard work, I received notification that I earned a Master of Photography Degree.

Martinsville and Henry County, November 3, 2023, Rick Dawson Cr. Photog., CPP, AFP of Dawson Photography Inc. in Martinsville and Henry County has earned the Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree will be presented to Dawson by PPA president Kira Derryberry, M.Photog. Cr., CPP at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, to be held in Louisville, KY, in January 2024.

Photographs by Rick Dawson of Bassett, VA, showed nature and location photography that stops time with images pleasing to the viewer. His photos are printed on canvas, while others are with black framed and glass at the Lynwood artist gallery at Piedmont Arts Association—the images of all different sizes and shapes are available for sale to hang above your couch or other areas of the home or office.

His exhibit will be showing until October 21, within Piedmont Arts Association Lynwood Artist Gallery located at 215 Starling Ave, Martinsville, VA, from 10 AM-5 PM Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM-5 PM.
