I’ve always considered myself a creative person, but for the longest time I wasn’t sure how to express that creativity.

Yesterday was a reminder of why I love creating.

A huge thank you to SC Studios for hosting such an incredible content creator collaboration! It was inspiring to connect with so many talented creators, step outside my comfort zone, and learn from people who share the same passion for storytelling.

This feels like the beginning of a new chapter for me. I’m excited to officially pursue content creation and photography, capturing authentic stories, local businesses, events, and the amazing people in our community. I know there’s still so much to learn, but I’m excited for the journey ahead.

Thank you again to everyone who made yesterday such a great experience. If you’re a local business, creator, or just someone who enjoys supporting local talent, I’d love to connect!

I’ve been testing Photoshop again, and let me just say I missed it!!

After experimenting with color grading and exposure, this love story framed by spring blossoms came back to life. 🌸 A little throwback to Derrick and Reese’s engagement session from April. Huge shoutout to them for trusting me to capture such a special moment!

If anyone knows me, you know the beach is basically my whole personality. 🌊

I recently had the chance to visit the Outer Banks with some friends, and naturally, I brought my camera along. Between the waves, colorful skies, and early-morning light, there was no shortage of inspiration.

This trip was also a big step for me as a photographer. For the first time, I moved away from relying on my Canon 4000D EOS camera’s automatic settings and started experimenting with manual settings. It challenged me to think more intentionally about the light, exposure, focus, and the overall feeling I wanted each photograph to capture.

I’m excited to share some of my favorite photographs from the trip and continue learning with every picture I take 📸.

Every photographer needs a dependable model. Mine works for treats, ignores most creative direction, and eventually falls asleep on set. 😂📸

This is Doug, my partner in crime. I spent time experimenting with indoor lighting and different perspectives with this handsome little guy. Photographing pets is a great reminder that the best portrait isn’t always the most perfectly posed one. Sometimes it’s the curious head tilt, the patient stare, or the unmistakable “Are we finished yet?” expression.

Don't worry, Doug was rewarded handsomely with treats after this for being so cute!!

Hey everyone, I "started" a photography page! 🎉📸

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Robert. I’m a photographer, creative storyteller, and someone who is almost always looking for the next excuse to pick up a camera.

For now, photography is a side gig that I do because I genuinely enjoy it. My goal is to keep developing my skills, create work I’m proud of, and eventually pursue photography professionally.

This page is where I’ll share my latest portraits, couples, pets, events, creative experiments, behind-the-scenes moments, and everything I learn along the way.
