Hello Everyone! Now that senior season is well underway, I am sharing photos from some of this summer's sessions. As such, I am also receiving messages and emails asking for my summer availability for senior sessions.
Unfortunately, I am not available for any more summer sessions this year. The earliest I am booking right now is October. And the truth is, fall becomes difficult with busy school/sports schedules and earlier sunsets.
And the question I get is "how early do I need to schedule senior photos?" It depends on the photographer. I know photographers who are already booking Class of 2028 seniors for next summer.
I prefer to wait a bit to schedule out my summer sessions. I photograph the majority of my seniors in June, July, and August. So my scheduling timeline looks like this:
* In March/April, I post on Facebook that I am taking an email list for senior photo inquiries. Respond that you wish to be included in the senior photo informational email.
* Last couple of days in April, I send out the senior photo informational email and booking opens up.
* If you want a July or August date, be sure to respond right away. They book up early!
