I freakin’ loved this shoot with .talsma and Mitch. I had just watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and wanted to bring the theme of romance through memory to this day. Prisms + car + sunshine = lots of creative fulfillment.

Aspen just had a birthday and is about to get married so let’s just celebrated her in general. 😘😘🎉🎉

Snow is almost gone (yay) but I’m here to remind my fellow yoopers that it will likely snow one more time this season (IM SORRY). It happens every year! However if we all just adjust our expectations… then we won’t be as mad when the blizzard comes! Right? RIGHT? I will happily accept if I’m wrong. Maybe this is the year that snow is gone for good by the end of April. ☠️

BUT look how pretty Brenna & Andy make the snow look! And this is just part one of my many favorites from this lovely winter wedding day. 🥲 Can’t wait to share more from this day.

For real though - can you even with Jimme Lyn’s shoes?? This was the most fun shoot - I laughed so hard and had a blast with these two. The whole vibe was just *chef’s kiss* perfection. 🤌🏽 So amazed with Jimme Lyn & Austin for coming up with this plan to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. 👏🏽👏🏽

It was sooo hard to narrow down the photos for this post. Malorie & Darius are a FREAKIN’ VIBE. Not only was their wedding beautiful ( is a gorgeous setting) but the day was also light hearted and just… so so fun. This day somehow became the foggiest day possible. We went to little Presque beach and couldn’t even see the island. 🤯 But it made for some moooody vibes and y’all know I’m always here for that.

Kathryn & Michael were so fun to photograph as well. As always when planning engagement sessions with my couples, I asked them what a typical date day looked like for them and they are into all the outdoorsy things so taking out their canoe made the most sense. 🤘🏽

Also, grabbing coffee and taking the dogs to the beach. They actually usually take the dogs with them in the canoe but for the sake a photos we decided to forgo that part… sigh… next time. I love their dogs.

Also you must know that their dogs names are Wilson and Bucket. Just fantastic. 👏🏽

If I had to niche down into ONE kind of session, it would be this. A day in the life of a couple. Cooking together. Reading together. Going to their favorite place to watch the sunset together. Lived in moments (especially in home) are so creatively fulfilling. Especially when the couple are as in love as these two.
