the photos that truly started it all.

i always had a camera within arms reach.

i graduated with a minor in photography.

i watched as others chose it as their profession "just because".

i already had a job.

but then,
three moves,
three kids,
and covid.

my husband slipped my camera into the hospital bag.

peyton needed an extra week there,
but no visitors were allowed.

no photographer.
no fresh 48 photos.
no baby album.

just us.

we got home
(and once i finally slept)
it happened organically.

camera in hand,
babies at home.
