That last post was from a class I am taking:
Visual Narratives: Print, Paint and Stitch with Sally Tyrie. It is making me stretch and giving me new tools for this wonderful creative journey. Lots more to come.

Like Katrina Hoes Meyers,/ I was very frustrated by trying to create images from contact prints. I was determined to give this analog process the “good old college try.” But between my arthrtic fingers struggling to manage small pieces of flimsy paper and the inability to see the abstract detail that I knew was there I gave up. I went back to my digital world to create layered images using my photoshop skills. The first two photos are my analog efforts small in the sketch book and 3 larger prints done on the computer on acetate, metallic paper and rice paper.

Next step some gelli plate and transfer printing…
