Can you believe summer is over, school has started, and fall is already here?
Yeah, me either! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, and this summer brought more challenges than I ever expected. Here’s a quick update!

✨ To my summer clients, THANK YOU. Truly, those two words don’t even cover it. I know my turnaround time has been slower than usual, and that’s not the standard I hold myself to. We thought the new business we bought at the start of summer would run slower, but it turned out to be the opposite, and then add all the kiddos home for summer, and that caused delays I didn’t anticipate. That said, I never take shortcuts on your photos. By Tuesday, I’m planning to have all pending galleries delivered with the full edits and retouches you deserve!

📸 Photography + the New Business (the Play Cafe)
A common question I get: “Are you still doing photography with everything else going on?” The short answer, YES! Our goal is to eventually staff the new business so I can step back, but until then, my photography sessions are more limited. For now, weekends are back to being my main shooting days. If you haven't checked out the new place yet, come on in. We know the kids will have a blast.

Thanks for sticking with me through all the chaos. Your support means the world. 💛 ! This client had no idea how nervous I was about letting her down, but I’m so glad I didn’t pass it up. Not only was the session an absolute blast, but the photos truly speak for themselves. Yes, I still wrestle with imposter syndrome and question if my work measures up, but seeing these results reminds me why I love what I do. ✨

Iowa weather doesn't always corporate, so don't stress we have our quaint in-home studio and we have also partnered with some local businesses in the area that have larger open indoor spaces. Our studio is currently located in Marion, IA. With a pop-up location in Dubuque, IA

Serving the Cedar Rapids, IA area, as well as the Tri-state Dubuque, IA area and Waterloo, IA area. As we have family in each of these areas we try to make it easy for you to get a session in your area.

Every step of the process is very important. I want to ensure that you not only love your final gallery but the experience along the way! Customer Service is not a thing of the past, it is a priority at Pink Door Studio.
