Sublime Memories...
Building current from a new south-east swell pulled me out to sea as I drifted around this virgin seascape, cautiously exploring the underwater topography of a spooky yet intoxicatingly beautiful new world. Early this morning I had escorted back to shore after a being circled twice by a graceful yet intimidating bull shark easily twice my weight. The lure of discover and communion with the sea far out weighted the safety of the beach, so I returned, armed with fresh camera battery and renewed confidence, as I silently swam back through the clouds of bubbles in search of the resident apex species. Although she stayed out view, her presence was felt and noticed in the body language of smaller fish who at times seems equally curious about my presence in their world. Endeavoring to telepath my mantra, as always when interacting with wildlife, i simply repeated the word, “love”, over and over in my mind, permeating the communication energy channels of these highly sensitive animals with waves of calm, peace, joy, appreciation and love. It’s the least I can do, when that is exactly the sensation I receive from the ocean.
