The foundation of the campaign came from the event’s own history: 25 years of catalog covers, each representing an honored artist and a signature color.
We assigned a secondary color to each year and used those hues as modular building blocks across the design system. Together, they formed a visual timeline—stacked to show chronology, woven to symbolize community, and animated to bring the legacy to life.
By treating the archive as a storytelling tool, we celebrated both the uniqueness of each year and the powerful impact of the whole.
