A cinematic love story caught on film!🥹📸🤍✨
Capturing love between the frames will always have my heart.🤍 I cannot express how overwhelmed I get witnessing two people live out their love story. There’s something so special about turning those genuine moments into images that feel like they belong in a movie. From the staging and direction, to the editing, every detail came together to tell their love story and create this romantic final result.🤍✨ shoutout to for helping stage these two! Couldn’t have asked for a better team🥹😊🤍✨

Definitely one of my favorite types of photography to create, and capturing love stories is officially at the top of my list . 🥹🤍✨

There’s something so beautiful about capturing the in-between moments of two connected individuals!🥹🤍 The way they hold each other, the way the light wraps around them, and that quiet, reassuring feeling of knowing they’ve found their person. ✨

This was one of my favorite sessions to date!😄✨ I used the client’s inspiration and implemented cinematic touches to each frame! From the dreamy golden-hour sunset, to the composition and movement, to create that feeling of watching two people literally fall in love in a movie🤍💍✨

Engagement sessions will always have my heart.🥹🤍✨ Getting to capture the beginning of a forever is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍

Some of my favorite images are the ones I never planned.🖤 As I’ve been exploring more outdoor and nighttime photography, I’ve realized just how much lighting can transform a scene! It’s more than illumination—it’s storytelling. I truly believe lighting is the most important part of photography.😄 Once you learn how to shape and control it, you can tell your story exactly the way you envision it. This shoot began with one vision but naturally evolved into something entirely different. This shoot reminded me that some of the best images come from embracing the unexpected.🥹🖤✨

LIGHTING: For this shoot, I shot in nighttime and played with my one strobe light. I placed it on one side of the subject to create shadows on the opposing side. With this, we created a more editorial, cinematic feel rather than a traditional portrait.

EDITING: Coloring is one of my favorite stages in editing! I kept the natural white balance and added green shadows to emphasize the wardrobe and mood. I adjusted skin tone to keep it as natural as possible. It came out exactly how I envisioned!🖤🖤🖤
