This image tells the story of a girl who lost the people who loved her most… and was left in a place that never truly felt like home.

A home can have walls, a roof, and people inside it… and still feel empty. Still feel cold. Still make someone feel unwanted and alone.

The cage in this image represents that kind of pain. The feeling of being trapped in grief, trapped in loneliness, and trapped somewhere your heart never felt safe.

Not all abandonment looks the same. Sometimes it looks like surviving in a place where love is missing.

Fresh ingredients straight from her own garden, recipes made with love, and a kitchen full of heart. You can taste the passion in every single bite in. Watching someone turn hard work, creativity, and homegrown goodness into something this beautiful was honestly inspiring.

And let me just say… these may have been the BEST tacos I’ve ever had. 🤤🌿

There’s something special about food made by someone who truly loves what they do. From garden to table, every detail tells a story — and getting to photograph that story was pure magic.

Do what you love, work hard, and don’t listen to those who don’t believe in you!

The dream was never supposed to make sense to everyone else. Keep creating. Keep building. Keep showing up even when nobody sees the late nights, the risks, the failures, the tears, or the hard work behind it all. The people who are meant to understand your vision will feel it.

Photography has taught me that passion, creativity, storytelling, and heart will always outshine fear and doubt. So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to chase the thing that lights your soul on fire… this is it.

Build the set. Take the shot. Start the business. Share the art. Be bold enough to become everything you were created to be.

Okay but I’m officially obsessed with the Westcott FJ400 V2 and Westcott FJ800 lately.

The creative masking settings make it SO easy to create multiple looks in literally seconds. At , I demonstrated this setup and it was super simple… just 4 lights total, building the image one light at a time all the way up to using all 4 together. Two of the lights had gels, and the variety we got in less than a minute is honestly wild.

Same setup. Same scene. Completely different moods with just a few clicks. That’s the kind of creative freedom I love.

Who else loves experimenting with light like this?

“You get a snowman! You get a snowman! YOU get a snowman!”

This is what happens when artists get together… chaos, creativity, and a whole lot of joy. Create and bring something so simple to life out of foam is honestly the best kind of magic.

Proof that creativity doesn’t have to be serious to be beautiful. Sometimes it looks like foam scraps everywhere, paint on your hands, and grown women chanting about snowmen in the middle of .

This is where the magic finally came alive…

What started as sheets of foam, paint, texture, and an idea turned into a full storytelling scene right in front of everyone’s eyes. We built the set, handcrafted her wardrobe from burlap, shaped every detail with intention, and then lit the entire scene using Nanlite to create mood, depth, and emotion.

Watching the students see it all click together—from concept to final image—was honestly one of my favorite moments of the whole class. Proof that you don’t need expensive props to create something powerful… just vision, creativity, and the courage to build it from scratch. 🤎

Stay tuned… because the final images deserve their own moment. 🔥

What an absolutely incredible day at Texas School Saturday. 🤍

I truly had the BEST class and the most fun teaching. There’s something so special about being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about creating, learning, and pushing themselves creatively. We laughed, we worked hard, we got messy, and we built something really amazing together.

Watching everyone bring ideas to life and seeing their excitement throughout the day honestly filled my heart. I left exhausted in the best way possible and so incredibly grateful for every single person who chose to spend their day with me.

And trust me… you’re going to want to see what we built.

Stay tuned!!

We just went out for a few things for Texas School Saturday… and somehow turned it into a full-on creative adventure 🤪
Carts full of ideas, hands full of ‘we can make this work,’ and a whole lot of magic in the making.

Senior Sunday, but make it Texas iconic!!

She didn’t just show up for photos…
she stepped into a moment she’ll never stand in again.

The bluebonnets will fade.
The season will pass.
But this version of her?
Confident. Radiant. Right on the edge of everything new…

That’s what we captured.

This is more than a senior session—
this is the in-between of who she’s been
and who she’s about to become.

No glam. No crazy wardrobe. Just watch this…

Sometimes it’s not about what you wear—it’s about how you show up.
Confidence. Presence. Energy. That’s what makes the image.

And honestly? That’s the kind of beauty that doesn’t need anything extra. Just a little bit of burlap!
