Today was a good day in my classroom. A kid brought me this colorful card and a Snickers for rescuing his water bottle last week, another kid told me in an email that my classroom is a place that makes them feel safe and comfortable despite going through some rough stuff, this afternoon was full of excitement as my classroom poured in and some shared stories of their dogs’ first pup cup, sharing their project with other teachers, and one had their design work make it to finals in a competition. Having so many feel good moments in a day like today is such a gift.
