I’ve had the honor of supporting thousands of people through sacred ceremonies, photoshoots, somatic sessions, breathwork journeys, and creative spaces that help them return to their truth, their bodies, and their becoming.

And after these past weeks in Peru — studying, listening, sitting in ancient places, and remembering deeper layers of my own medicine — I feel more aligned than ever with the work I’m here to do.

I only take on a handful of weddings each year so I can fully honor the couples who trust me to be their documentarian. Every laugh, tear, and fleeting glance is a story I get to preserve - and it’s why I do what I do.

I’ve been working with 🦉 Owl medicine since my early days, but it became much more pronounced after a shamanic power animal ceremony at Burning Man in 2019, when I had an unmistakably strong encounter with the Owl spirit — asking me to walk and work with them across all realms. ✨

My grandmother had been sending me owl totems for much of my life (and still does) — and over the years, I’ve been gifted several special owls from around the world and from ceremonies I’ve helped facilitate. These days, I see owl feathers, paintings, and signs — and meet owl people — almost every week. 🌍🪶

It felt like another sweet stroke of synchronicity and magic to meet Rina during her personal brand shoot in Central Park. As she pulled out a shaker painted with an owl, we both laughed — two Owl sisters meeting by chance, celebrating our shared love for these incredible winged teachers and their ability to see the unseen. 💫

Thank you, Rina, for the gift of meeting and creating together. I loved learning more about your journey and am deeply inspired by the energy medicine offerings you bring into the world. It’s always a joy to cross paths with fellow lightworkers and Owl kin. 🤍

The universe always knows how to align the right souls at the right time. ✨

During my time on Lake Atitlán, I had the gift of staying in Satya’s beautiful home for a couple days —just a stone’s throw from the nature reserve.

Mornings were filled with pastries, her kitten curled beside me, and playful pups greeting the day. We’d cross paths in the sweetest, most serendipitous ways — at drumming circles, bakery lines, and along the winding pathways of time.

Our rooftop cacao ceremony still brings tears to my eyes. Photographing Satya that day — immersed in her essence, her medicine, her prayer — felt like ceremony itself. Her presence holds such tenderness and power; witnessing her healing arts through the lens was pure alchemy.

As I reflect, I’m reminded how interconnected we all are — through luminous souls like Karbin, and the many friends who help weave our villages closer every day.
Thank you, Karbin, for sharing your heart and activating this beautiful ceremony.
