Shooting for the education market has taken my focus over the last few years which is why I am no longer in the wedding photography business. I will happily pass on requests to my excellent and trusted fellow photographers in our area and hopefully they can help.

Backstage 🎧

I love this part of a show.

When we know what magic is about to happen but the audience doesn’t.

House lights go down.
All backstage crew are ready.
Cast rehearsed and ready.
Orchestra tuned and poised.
Choir warmed up and stood proud.
Staff exhausted but sooooo ready.
Silence.
And then we hear “and queue lights..” on the ‘cans’
And off we go.

Back in 2017 I went to a shoot organised by Deborah’s best friends to celebrate her and all that she was doing to support other people with bowel cancer and raising vital awareness of the symptoms.

It really did stick with me that day because that was me and my pals, that was every sisterhood I know and that It could be any of us.

She’s still being brilliant and raising money and awareness and on my way back home today on I heard her speaking from an episode of - a life enhancing podcast. How far she has come and what lives she’s saved already. Incredible.

I’ve donated to today and sending all the kick ass love I can from me and my sisterhood ❤️
